Once Again...adoring Keanu!
i was disappointed when i didn't get the chance to watch the movie of Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton with Keanu Reeves in "Something's Got to Give (2003)" i thought that i wouldn't be able to watch another Keanu movie that year or the year after..but, fortunately "Constantine" came up!! - one of the many good movies of Keanu Reeves..saw this movie last February 17th (thanks to ate Joey)

"Constantine" is basically about the balance of good and evil here on earth, crossing over and God's purpose..can also be about exorcism, demons, angels and the extra-ordinary gift that human possess. -- John Constantine [Keanu Reeves] has been to hell and back..he is born with a gift, the ability to recognize the half-breed angels and demons that walks on earth in human skin.

Constantine was driven to take his own life to escape the tormenting clarity of his vision. but he failed. resuscitated against his will, he found himself cast back to the land of the living. now, marked as an attempted suicide with a temporary lease on life, he patrols the earthly borders between heaven and hell, hoping in vain to earn his way to salvation by sending the devil's foot soldiers back to the depths. but Constantine is no saint. disillusioned by the world around him and at odds with the one beyond, he’s a hard-drinking, hard-living bitter hero who scorns the very idea of heroism. Constantine will fight to save your soul but he doesn’t want your admiration or your thanks – and certainly not your sympathy.
All he wants is a reprieve.

When a desperate but skeptical police detective (RACHEL WEISZ as Angela Dodson) enlists his help in solving the mysterious death of her beloved twin sister (also played by Weisz), their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels that exists just beneath the landscape of contemporary Los Angeles. Caught in a catastrophic series of otherworldly events, the two become inextricably involved and seek to find their own peace at whatever cost.(synopsis) by the way, watch out for the asian girl who is possessed in the beggining of the movie, she have a line in TAGALOG!! (hahahaha, sikat ang pinoy! wo-hoo!)
i must say, Keanu Reeves is a hunk in his early 40s. he's definitly my one and only, most favorite actor!! love his looks, his voice, his skills etc -- he is one of Hollywood's most sought after and successful actors. his dedication to his craft is well known among his peers and is admirably reflected in his choice of roles as well as in his performances.
